Ashley Monroe

Ashley Monroe is an American country music songwriter and singer. Her debut singles came out in 2007 and a full album entitled Satisfied. In 2013, she debuted her second album entitled Like a Rose. Ashley Monroe performing with Blake Shelton in 2015. In 2015, she debuted her debut album, The Blade. This album earned her acclaim and praise. Ashley Monroe works as the Village Manager Assistant in Riverside Illinois. With over 15 years experience, she has worked at various levels of public service, including five years spent as Iowa City's deputy City Manager post. As Assistant Village Manager her current duties include managing the Community Development and Building Department as well as completing various tasks. Ashley's job at Riverside is to assist with the day-to-day operation of the village's services and carry out the strategic vision set forth by elected officials. Ashley's previous positions included municipal planning, communications for government budgeting, management of personnel as well as collective negotiations. She also focused on actions to combat climate change. Ashley's participation in National organizations and work with communities of varying population sizes has provided her with insights into the various differences and commonalities between the ways in which various public agencies run. Ashley's teaching focuses on the current approach to management and leadership within public organizations from an experienced professional. She is focused on adjusting strategies and ethical decisions in order in order to address today's challenges and challenges. She also helps navigate intergovernmental relationships.
